Method of Sociology

They are using scientific method to investigation and interested in predicting outcomes.
They use observations, hypotheses and propose for form of theories.
If result of prediction is true , will be survived. If not it will be removed or modified.

Scientific method are iterations and recursions and 4 steps

Characterization, Hypothesis, Prediction and Experiment

Make a  Hypothesis

providing a causal explanation or proposing some association
Scientist use creativity, ideas and should make a new Hypothesis.
But not any guidelines

Prediction

hypothesis can be predictable. but not always

Experiment

need to experiment after prediction.
Scientists need openness and accountability when the experiment
True experiment is ideally suited for the performance of science.


I think scientific method of sociology is variable. so having not correct answer of this.
just thinking distinctively and don't be passinated to stereotype
