Introduction to Sociology/Culture

I post summation and my opinion about interesting part of this article: subculture, counterculture, ethnocentrism, cultural relativism, cultural change.
Subculture is participated in by a small members. Many cultures are contained subculture. Each district’s tradition, someone’s fans, military culture can be a example. Counterculture is also subculture that against beliefs, values, norms of most social community. It gains membership as using of particular fashions, argot, mannerisms. There are hippie, green movement, feminist.
Ethnocentrism is the view to look at the another from the own culture. It considered that every society appear. It can exist cohesion, internal comradeship but a sense of superiority, distinction can exist also. Cultural relativism is the belief that a culture cannot be totally translated into or understood in another so culture has to be understood in term of larger symbolic perspective. Ultimately it is essential that perfectly immerse oneself in cultures.
Culture changes by many reasons like resistant, environmental factor, invention, contact with other cultures, etc. It’s cause can be founded in Anthropology (e.g., diffusion theory). Also there is Griswold that suggests sociological perspective making a great point of recognize, meaning, social relations.

There are so many things newly I get. I knew another approaching about culture relativism. I thought it just considered that understanding each other’s perspective. Also I afresh study about ethnocentrism. There are some merits I didn't know. It’s so remarkable.

I wonder about more good things of ethnocentrism, and other cultural change factors and examples something special.
