What is “family”?

What is “family”?

My mom and dad lives in Pohang. I live in Ansan and we live apart. They live there because of their work and I stay here because of the university. We don’t live together however we call each other, “family”. Of course, our parents are family. Then who is the last person we include as a family? Is cat in your home family too?

There are many types of families. These children are her biological offspring, although adoption of children is a practice in nearly every society. This kind of family is common where women have the resources to rear their children by themselves, or where men are more mobile than women. The term extended family is also common, especially in United States. The term blended family or step family describes families with mixed parents: one or both parents remarried, bringing children of the former family into the new family. Most of the US households are now non-traditional under this definition. In terms of communication patterns in families, there are a certain set of beliefs within the family that reflect how its members should communicate and interact. These family communication patterns arise from two underlying sets of beliefs.

I think making families with adoption is very impressive and good for the society. Kids with new family will have lots of love again and could live in the better place. It would make them there is a still hope and love in this society. Also, I think this kind of family is very important and I hope there would be lots of families like this.

Moreover, blended families are very cool, too. I think cooperating and living with other races is very unique. Racial discrimination will not appear and we can see everyone being together happily.
