Summary

  Demography is study about scale, distribution, composition, birth, death, migration, social movement of population and population itself. Conception of Demography is different with population theory.
  Demography focuses on variation of numerical value. In article, there are fertility rate of some region, country, or rate about birth, infant, and life expectancy. According to article, as medical industry develops, generally rate of mortality decreases and rate of life expectancy increases today. This truth are showed at demographic transition. Demographic transition appears Death rate, birth rate, potal population and its relation.
  Overpolulation is conception that explain population surplus economically. Generally, urban area has more population than local area. And developed countries have more population than underdeveloped countries in global. So overpopulation and underpopulation are related in international problem of poverty, abandoned children.
  Urbanization is a reason to explain modern migration and social movement trend. As Industrialization and Urbanization proceed, people move to urban area or developed countries.

Learned items and Opinion

  I think Demography is one of interesting sociological study. In the way that Demography has feature of numeral estimation, it is one of operational definition. So, study about this is more important task in sociologically. Also, Demography is important conception in both economy and sociology. With more and detailed study about this definition, we can know about future of human in various fields.
