Regionalism (extra)

It is the principle that maintain specificity and autonomy of region .Regionalism has a sense of unity and common interests. But the problem
appearing in our society today is greatest variable that blocks the local democracy and national integration.

That's because the regionalism repeat dysfunction in today Korean politics. It is hard to deny that the localistic political mobilization through the elections in history is the critical factor that hinder improvement of korean politics. So, the regionalism that has a strong political nature is an ideological belief system.

Since the 1960s, political regionalism in Korea has began to be mobilized.
the regionalism's awakening in the 6th presidential election in 1967 became conspicuous in 1971 the 7th presidential election.
