Introduction to Sociology/Politics

Politics is a procedure about decision of a mass. Although phraseology is usually applied to behaviour within civil governments, it is observed from all people group interactions including political enterprise, academic, and religious organization. Politics is composed social relationship or power, a rule of political unit both a means and the methods and stratagem used to formulate and apply social policy.
Moreover there are a manifold of forms of government that Monarchy, Democracy, Totalitarianism, Oligarchy, Communist state, Theocracy although there subsist various legitimate means of holding power, there are a variety of forms of government.

<A map showing the current Communist states. They are China, Cuba, North Korea, Laos, and Vietnam.>

<Map of countries that declared themselves or were declared to be socialist states under the Marxist-Leninist or Maoist definition at some point in their history. The map uses present-day borders. Note that not all of these countries were Marxist-Leninist or Maoist at the same time.>

Somewhat in any political system where voting is allowed, some people are more likely to vote than others. Moreover, some people are more likely to have approach to political power than are others. It is in harassing out the stratification of political participation and political power that the sociological imagination is particularly useful. While women are generally as likely to vote in developed countries, women are underrepresented in political positions. Women make up a very small percentage of elected officials, both at local and national levels in the U.S.

<This figure breaks down women's participation in Congress in the U.S. by year and by political party. Women are more likely to be elected as Democrats than as Republicans, but remain underrepresented among both parties relative to their percentages in the population as a whole.>

I think that Democracy is the best forms of government among many forms of government in today's study contents. Although that it is likely to be ignored even if a small number of opinion is a drawback, the state system than the others, opinion of many people and be respected more. Of course, I think the system could be ignored the opinion of the minority more than opinion of the minority is wrong but I value exceedingly the democracy in terms of freedom of many people is guaranteed. Because freedom is one of the most basic rights of human beings. In addition to the foregoing opinion, I wonder that whether you have a solution about my opinion of Democracy problem. if you have a idea, I want to hear that.
