Introduction to Sociology/Race and Ethnicity

race
a race is one of the major groups which human beings can be divided into according to their physical features, such as the color of their skin. The race is divided by a physical difference such as  skin color or facial characteristics. and this led to racial classifications. racial classifications is comes from ancient Egyptians. ancient authors tried to classify people that have various visible features. In the 19th century, many scientists distinguished race. Races were distinguished by skin color, facial type, cranial profile and size, and texture and color of hair. but this opinion oscillated by advent of Darwinian models of evolution and Mendelian genetics. because of these theory racial classifications continue. Racism is is the belief that people of some races are inferior to others, and the behavior which is the result of this belief. Racism may be expressed individually and consciously, through thoughts, feelings, or acts, or socially and unconsciously. and racism is learned when they are young. Children develop an awareness of race and racial stereotypes quite young and these racial stereotypes affect behavior.

opinion
this article was the opportunity to learn about racism, one-drop rules.
in this article, one-drop rule detail is not written. so l clicked the link from wikipedia.
one-drop rule is the notion that one drop of black blood (any African ancestry at all) makes a person black. The child's mother is white and father is black, the child is black. and the child's mother and father is white but child's grandmother is black, the child is black. although one drop of not-white people, they are black. I don't understood that.
why?????(this is my question)
