Summary

  Generally, Conflict Theory acknowledges and justifies social conflict phenomenon. Also, conflict theory insists that social conflicts change society toward better situation in sociological viewpoint.
  Origin of onflict theory is opinioin of Han Fei Tzu in ancient china. By this foundation, conflict theory have developed to modern society. Typically Karl Heinrich Marx and C. Wright Mills believe and develop conflict theory.
  In article, there are some modern examples : Social stratification, Wealth and power inequality, Drug abuse and crime. These examples are usual and prevalent problems in whole society.

Learned Items & Opinion

  Truly, Conflict theory is really famous theory so I already know it. Usually it is prepared with Functionalism. And because of social conflicts recognition feature, relatively people who have lower stratification support conflict theory. They also want revolution through conflict with people who have higher stratification.
  So, I think opinion of conflict theory is not enough to explain whole social phenomenon, because there not contains opinion and statement of people who have higher stratification.

Question

I wonder conflict theory is ideal theory to explain social phenomenon like social revolution.
