Gender roles differ according to cultural-historical context, and while most cultures express two genders, some express more. Other societies have been claimed to have more than five genders, and some non-Western societies have three genders – man, woman and third gender. Gender expression refers to the external manifestation of one's gender identity, through masculine, feminine, or gender-variant or gender neutral behavior, clothing, hairstyles, or body characteristics.
I think gender roles acknowledge social discrimination and stereotype. and third gender was strange to me. But now, I needed to acknowledge third gender.

I think frequent exposure on mass media is one method to change our perception about third gender. For example, good eyes and recognizing eyes about gay and lesbian in drama can help to change our perception and remove social discrimination.
