The causes of war in international relations rims are often very trivial.
For example, a couple of former Crown Prince of Austria in World War II brought death.
Distrust against the state as the big people, was also applying an interest in war some countries.
Sometimes war takes place in the difference, such as race or religion sometimes.
Conflict between Sunni and Shia is also an example for this.
It is one of the factors causing war economic differences.
War is caused by a number of factors in this way.

Why war will not be eradicated?
I think war never disappear. We are living in capitalism and capitalism aims at making profits.
