What does Politics mean?

Politics is one of the factors that consist of society. It refers to achieving and exercising positions of governnce - organized control over a human community, particularly a state. Politics is exercised on a wide range of social levels, from clans and tribes of traditional societies, through modern local governments, companies and institutions up to sovereign states, to the international level.

There are different types of governments such as monarchy, democracy, totalitarianism, oligarcy, and theocray. At first, a monarchy is a form of government in which sovereignty is actually or nominally embodied in a single individual. Secondly a democracy is a form of government in which all eligible citizens participate ecually-either directly or indirectly through elected representatives- in the proposal, development, and creation of laws. Third totalitarianism or totalitarian state is a term used by some political scientists to describe a political system in which the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life wherever possible. Similarly Commuism is a socioeconomic system structed upon common ownership of the means of production and characterised by the absence of classes, money, markets and the state; as well as a social, political and economic ideology and movement that aims at the establishment of this social order.
