Introduction to Sociology/Socialization

Goals of Socialization

According to Arnett, there are three goals for socialization.
1. Development of conscience and impulse control .
2. Prepare your role for future.
3. the cultivation of sources of meaning, or what is important, valued, and to be lived for

That is, it may be that it is a preparatory process to advance to the Society.Process of socialization will be worn by acquired learning. But it should also be noted that, though socialization is a key sociological process in the development of individuals who can function in human society, not every aspect of human behavior is learned. To what extent human behavior is biologically determined vs. learned is still an open question in the study of human behavior.

My opinion

In order to play an important role in society, people educated at home and school since they were child. After reading this part,I studied that though people have educated, even after the man has learned, factors such as the nature and biological instinct of original still remain. In addition, they are in opposition with each other, it was found that it is a challenge that can not be solved yet of behavioral studies of humans.

Question
It may or may not be able to be controlled that acquired learning affects the human instinct to a certain extent.
How acquired learning affects the human instinct?
