Introduction to Sociology/Socialization : Focusing conception

Summary

 

  Socialization is learned process or result that one person become a social constituent member.
Objects of Socialization are development and promotion of person's conscience, and decision about social roles, making social meaning and choice of important things.
  According to these definition and detailed concept of socialization, there are some question about discussion of human's borned and learned feature.
  Primary socialization and Secondary socialization have some difference in happening time of socialization.
Primary socialization happens at early times of human groth process, in early childhood.
And secondary socialization happens more later than primary socialization, also it is happened by custom of each society.
  Broad and Narrow socialization only have difference in range of result.
Literally, broad socialization has broad range, and narrow socialization has narrow socialization.
  Because of 'learned' feature of socialization, once socialization happened, cannot change that learned things well. It is one of reason to emphasize importance of socialization.

Learned Items & Interest things

  Most important item what I learned through these article is classification of socialization. In fact, story contents in 'The Importance of Socialization' (feral child story) are so famous, so I already know.
  But classifications of socialization like primary and secondary, broad and narrow, are unfamiliar to me. So, I was interested in these classifications of socialization while reading articles.

Question

  I want to know more about other classifications of socialization, and i wonder functional(functionalism viewpoint) and conflict theoretical approach to socialization.
